Hi everyone,
I’ve been using HouzzPro Takeoffs (since being migrated over from CONX) for quite some time now and it’s always been reliable — just as good as before, until recently.
However, I’ve noticed that when I’m in the Takeoff section and switch between plan numbers, the loading time has become extremely slow. It feels like something has changed on the server side or the way files are cached or fetched. It was never like this before, and it’s now quite time-consuming and frustrating to work with.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
-
Cleared browser history, cache, and cookies multiple times
-
Tested on multiple browsers and computers
-
Using Google Chrome (latest version, fully updated)
-
Checked that my system hardware and graphics acceleration are running fine
-
Run multiple internet speed tests (consistently around 300 Mbps download, which is excellent by Australian standards)
So, it doesn’t appear to be an issue on my end — connection, browser, or hardware wise.
I’ve also been in contact with Customer Service via email, but the process is quite slow (no direct chat or phone support), and they suggested I post here to see if others are having similar problems or if the HouzzPro team can take a closer look.
Is anyone else noticing this slowdown when switching between plan numbers in Takeoffs?
Would really appreciate if someone from the HouzzPro tech/dev team could investigate any recent updates or backend changes that might be affecting Takeoff performance.
Thanks,
Peter
