How to download my plans houzz in to 3d

i need help To download my plans

Hi Victor! Welcome to the community!

Happy to help here, are you trying to export a floor plan into a PDF? or are you looking to export the 3D data into another software? Let me know!

If its the former, thats pretty simple! You can follow these steps:

  1. Open your 3D floor plan

  2. Click the Print/PDF button at the top right of your screen

  3. Select either Save PDF to Files or Print

If you choose Save PDF to Files, you can name your file and it will be saved to your project’s Files & Photos section . From there, you can easily share it with clients or use it to create other documents

If you choose Print, you can save the PDF directly to your computer or print it right away!

Hope this helps!

Hi, I have the same question and I think that there may be a misunderstanding on what is being asked. He (and I) want to know what is the easiest way to take our current plans designed by an architect and download them into your system so we can:

  1. Do a lumber, drywall, flooring, etc. take off
  2. Do an estimate
  3. Turn it into a 3D floorplan

Hi - got it - you can upload your current plans into Houzz Pro to do all of those. Here’s how - links to directions included below:

  1. Start with a lead or project and upload your plan (link) then Set the right scale, then complete your Takeoff - here’s an overview and here’s how to do it with AI
  2. You can convert your takeoff to an estimate - see last step on this page
  3. You’ll need to upload your plans a second time into the 3D tool so you can create a 3D model from them. From the menu on the left side of this help article, see “upload existing plan” to see how.

Happy Thanksgiving and please let us know if that helped!
