Is it possible to print a floor plan to scale? All of the contractors I share designs with are disappointed that I can’t provide a real floor plan for them to accurately use and submit for permits. Am I missing this? I tried through takeoffs, but can’t find a way to print from here.

Hi @Kim_Gifford ! Thanks so much for the feedback - we actually do have print to scale on the roadmap for 3D!
As a work around for now, try to convert your 2D plan into a Takeoff, set the exact scale, and then download the marked-up plan to print for your contractors. Since you mentioned having trouble finding how to print from the Takeoffs tool, here is the step-by-step workaround:
1. Save the 2D Plan as a PDF - Open your 3D floor plan and ensure you are viewing it in Floor Plan (2D) mode. Click the Print/PDF button at the top of your plan and select Save PDF to Files.
2. Create a Takeoff Navigate to the Takeoffs section of your project and click Create a Takeoff. Choose the option to select an existing file from your project, check the box next to the PDF you just saved, and click Create & Continue.
3. Set the Scale Once your floor plan loads onto the Takeoffs canvas, go to the Page Settings in the lower left corner. Here, you can adjust the page scale and preferred unit of measurement to ensure everything is perfectly accurate.
4. Add Measurements and Notes (Optional) If you want to provide your contractors with even more detail for their permits, you can use the Takeoffs toolbar at the top of the canvas to add specific ruler measurements, text notes, and drawings directly onto the plan.
5. Save and Download the Plan to Print To print the plan, you must first save it to your files. Click the Save to Files button at the top right of your Takeoff screen. Once the system finishes generating the file, go to your project’s Files & Photos section, open the Takeoffs folder, and select the Marked-Up Plans folder. Open your file, click the Download button to save the PDF to your computer, and you will be ready to print it out for your contractors
